Was able to put together all the ingredients necessary to snap off a few plates on my vacation to Michigan. These are the first plates I’ve made with all my own stuff. I used a 4×5 with a modified back for 3.5″ plates.

	This was my first test shot. It came out better than I could have hoped. I was very haphazard making it and putting together my dark trunk so naturally I didn’t expect to get good results. The varnish was cloudy and so the plates were ruined a touch, but sitting at a campfire with the smell of lavender lingering in the air… Worth it.
